Using Datagraph in your Network

Top  Previous  Next

You can use Datagraph-med© on a network in order to enter and analyze data simultaneously on different computers.

Datagraph-med© should be installed locally on each workstation. Only the data file (for example 'My Treatments 4.xx.mdb') should be stored on the network server. Each user must select this one file as his data file. Data can be entered simultaneously, even for the same patient, but not in the same field.

Care has to be taken that updates are installed on every PC linked to the same database at the same time as changes in the data file format may cause incompatibility with former versions of datagraph-med. In other words: all computers must use the same version of datagraph-med. If one is updated, all have to be updated.

Note: Users must have full read/write permissions to all folders where Datagraph-med© is installed and to the folder which hosts the data file.
